The University of Connecticut/NHRHTA Inc. Joint Railroad Archives contain the largest and most significant collection of historical records from the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad, and predecessor and subsidiary companies. These original documents include Directors' minutes, real estate files, maps, legal documents, financial records, and much more.
The Railroad Archives' collections may be used by any individual, in accordance with Archives regulations. Archived materials do not circulate, and may only be used in the Archives reading room. Professional archivists are available to provide assistance in answering your research questions. For most research visits, advanced notice is recommended.
