RAPIDO 50000-series COKE GONDOLAS

Rapido Trains will be producing the unique drop-bottom gondolas, very similar to New Haven’s 15 Standard Steel Car Co. gons, that they purchased in 1930. As usual, these can be reserved through the Readville Shops and are available as single cars or in a 6-pack of different numbers. If you order more than one car (up to six), all numbers will be different. Our price is $42 each, with the 6-pack @$248. NEW ESM ex-STATE OF MAINE BOXCARS RESERVATIONS NOW

Now taking reservations for the HO-scale ex-State of Maine insulated boxcars being offered by Eastern Seaboard Models (owner is an NHRHTA member) . Two numbers in both New Haven and Bangor & Aroostook versions.

Interested? Rest your mouse on “Reservations” in the black banner on our Home Page and click on the Boxcar option. While you’re there…click on the 14-4 “Point” Sleeper option and reserve some of them, too!

Rapido Stainless County Cars Now Available!

Readville Shops is now selling the recently-released County Car models from Rapido Trains. These HO models are available in several variations in the three different time periods that they operated on the New Haven: As-delivered with green stripe; McGinnis orange stripe and skirted; McGinnis orange stripe without skirts. If you didn’t reserve these cars, or want additional cars, after receiving your reservation, you can now order them from the Store. You will be “blown-away” by the seven different interiors and overall quality of these cars! All come with LED track-powered lighting and “keep-alive” capacitor. Lights can be turned on/off with the supplied “wand”.

As a special for those reading this announcement, for the next 60-days, you can use a $5 savings per car Coupon, by putting the word “COUNTY” in the “Coupon” box.
